Sky News host Kieran Gilbert revealed 53 per cent of undecided voters said the they were more likely to vote for Labor after the debate between Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk and Opposition Leader Deb Frecklington on Wednesday.
The Queensland Leaders debate was hosted by Sky News and The Courier-Mail.
There was a 30 per cent vote from undecided voters in favour of Deb Frecklington, and 17 per cent registered as undecided after the debate, Mr Gilbert said.
He added, the strong vote for Ms Palaszczuk was expected in greater Brisbane.
“We know this a tale of two elections at the moment, the South-East and then the rest of the state, and Deb Frecklington and the LNP are feeling a lot more confident in other parts of Queensland,” he said.
Sky News host Peter Gleeson said Brisbane was a “Palaszczuk Stronghold”.
One of the voters who asked questions had their vote revoked as Sky News now understands they had an existing party preference.
